  1. Contact form / e-mail contact: name, e-mail, content of the message
  2. User account: username, e-mail, encrypted password, date of registration, all information provided in your profile
  3. Further data only if actively provided by you:
    • Creating a personal message to another registered user
    • Entry in the guestbook or post in the discussion forum (where available)
    • In both cases, when a draft version is saved

The IP address is stored in the following cases: creation of a personal message, guestbook entry, forum post (where available), deletion or modification of posts or private messages, changes to central profile data (e-mail address, account activation, user password), and failed login attempts. For each session, as a technical requirement, the browser identification string (user agent) transmitted by your browser is stored. This can only be viewed by the technical administrator and is deleted once the session expires.

Retention Period

"josephthurner.photo" adheres to the principles of data minimisation and necessity. Personal data are only stored for as long as required for the specific purpose (in particular for providing your user account or processing your enquiries) or as long as statutory retention periods demand. Once the purpose ceases to apply or these periods expire, the corresponding data are routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal regulations. Notwithstanding this, you may delete your account or request complete deletion at any time.
